Don’t start with trends. Start with what’s already happening.
Most local churches and ministries don’t need more ideas. They need a way to consistently share the things they’re already doing well. Sermons, people, Scripture, moments of real community.
Each platform behaves differently, so treat them differently. Facebook is mostly your existing people. Instagram is about tone and visibility. Trying to force the same post everywhere usually weakens it.
Clarity matters more than creativity at first. Consistency matters more than polish. Trust is built long before anyone likes or comments.
Don’t focus on engagement metrics. Focus on showing up. It can feel quiet, but people are watching.
Assign ownership. When social media is everyone’s job, it usually becomes no one’s job.
The goal isn’t viral content.
